The contact form
When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address and message so we can reply to you. This information is not added to any mailing list unless you separately opt in.
Email list
If you sign up for the free AI guide or join the mailing list, your name and email address are collected and stored with Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email service provider. Kit is based in the United States, so your data may be processed there. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email you receive, or by contacting us directly. We do not sell or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Purchases
If you purchase the AI Career Upgrade System e-book, payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details — these are handled entirely by Stripe in line with their own privacy policy. We retain a record of your purchase (name, email, transaction details) for accounting and customer support purposes.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how long visitors stay. You can opt out using your browser settings or a Google Analytics opt-out extension.
If you leave a comment on the site, cookies may be used to remember your name, email and website for next time, as described below.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, plus the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. An anonymised string created from your email address may be checked against the Gravatar service to see if you’re using it; see Gravatar’s privacy policy at automattic.com/privacy. If your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible publicly alongside your comment. Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so follow-up comments can be recognised automatically.
How long we keep your data
Contact form submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry. Email list data is kept until you unsubscribe. Purchase records are kept as required for accounting and tax purposes.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to object to how it’s used. To exercise any of these rights, contact info@sarahblinco.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
Where your data is sent
Some of the third-party services we use (including Kit and Stripe) may store data outside the UK/EU. These providers are chosen because they maintain appropriate data protection standards under their own terms.
